Scubadiving.ae have hit the nail on the head perfectly by explaining to us that you can try introductory diving before committing to a fully certified dive course. Introductory diving is fun and much easier than scuba diving while providing the same luxury experience to beginners. Furthermore, introductory diving is aimed at beginners with no experience in diving or swimming what so ever. In introductory diving, the trainer or instructor is with you the whole time; he even holds your hand throughout the diving.

You can try it and commit to it if you like it.

How Long Does it Take Before I Can Fully Scuba Dive?

Most scuba diving courses and schools take up to six days to complete, with two of those being classroom theory, before you can dive in open waters. During the diving courses, you will be trained in the art of diving, swimming, some classroom theory, and you will be taken for test dives before your certificate is being issued to you.

If you have the time, then we highly recommend you try scuba diving. As one of the great French naval officer Jacques-Yves Cousteau said, “The Sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.”

The Best Places to Dive

There are tons of excellent places where you can scuba dive. Some of the most magnificent is the Cairns in Australia due to the Great Coral Reef, the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico, Barracuda Point in Malaysia, Blue Corner Wall in Micronesia, Thistlegorm in the Egyptian Red Sea, Manta Ray in Hawaii, and more.

Each one of these offers breathtaking views of corals and underwater flora and fauna, and you can even take photos of the amazing wildlife.
